I am by far not great at @dota-agents , but have some pointers for others who may have played and noticed an aberration or two while playing. If you see players seemingly controlling their movement, moreso than just sticking to a lane, you can do this, too! You can manipulate your position with the lane buttons. For instance, if you are in the top lane, but your character is at the bottom of the top lane, press top again and you will move to the top of the lane. Another example. If you are in the middle lane, click bottom, and then top again as soon as you are able to and you'll skirt the middle just under the lane. Usage example. When in mid lane and you know there is a mage who is likely going to tornado you, just as you approach (and if you are also a mage just as your tornado goes off) hit the bottom lane then right back to mid. This can potentially allow your tornado to strike and you potentially avoid the opposing tornado. This can allow you take out an opponent that substantially outlevels you, or save you and allow you to pass them in the lane. Another thing about picking lanes, especially the top or bottom. This may just be in my head, but i don't think so. If you plan to go to the top or bottom and the minions are in the middle of the lane or pushed towards the opposing teams tower/base, go down the middle lane past your first tower then choose top/bottom. I believe it is a more direct route and will get you to the minions sooner. Anyone have any other tips to share?
