Right?! The squad synergy as we blasted up mid lane was unstoppable. One mage throws down tornadoes and another rages out fireballs. Could of done with a couple of tanky melees in front to absorb the tower shots, but other than that, mage is cooking 🔥
View on Farcaster →Collecting digital art feels weirdly tangible to me. Yeah it lives onchain. But the memories, the people, the moments around each piece are very real. It’s less about flexing a jpeg and more about owning a timestamp in culture. It’s the main reason I spin the @betrmint wheel. It’s why I miss @rodeodotclub. It’s why I buy 1/1’s and open editions. It’s why I still browse @fxhash regularly. It’s why I’d like to thank all the artists still here… THANK YOU 🙏 (Ledina #19 by @qotonana)
View on Farcaster →4 days in to the Road to /farcon-rome quiz and I finally scored an elusive 7/7 😁 The first 3 days of the crash course I scored a high of 5/7 but then came… "Ordering Coffee"! 🇮🇹 🔥 4-day streak! How well do you know Rome?
Top 10 video games unranked - Alex Kidd in Miracle World 🕹️ - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 🗡️ - Super Mario Kart 🚗 - Championship Manager 2 🤓 - Pro Evolution Soccer ⚽ - Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Island Thunder 🎖️ - Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare 🔫 - PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) 🪂 - Apex Legends 🏹 - ARC Raiders 🤖 35+ years of gaming, I think these are pretty close to the 10 games I’ve put the most hours into with some fond memories bias. As a man of integrity, i have to admit that Fortnite should of made this list based purely on hours played, and a whole bunch of others I’ve had good times with, such as Golden Eye, narrowly missed out 😅 Curious what makes @suffuze.eth and @wetsocks.eth top 10 👀
Ohhh forgot about the kiss greeting! I’m a British man. We barely kiss our wives in public. We defo aren’t smacking our lips on the cheeks of friends when we meet. Honestly feels completely superfluous. I still remember the day my father came back from a few years in France and kissed my cheeks in the middle of the pub we met at. First time in at least 20 years I’d had anything more physical than a good ol’ man hug from him. The horror!!! Anyway, I scored 5/7 on today's Road to /farcon-rome quiz: "Greetings & Introductions"! 🇮🇹 🔥 2-day streak! How well do you know Rome?
View on Farcaster →With top spot in the Farcaster league out of reach I’ve turned my wary focus to finishing top 100k overall. I’d be happy with that from here, currently 125k, and it would make back to back top 100k for me. For now, it’s a nice few weeks break for internationals and cup football. Good luck to everyone still competing 💪
So the doods have been inspired by a Farcaster born play in search of a viable use of ai to include more people in their ecosystem. Turning your photo reel into your very own doodles universe. I like it. It’ll never be @sayangel’s warplets. But I like it. Gave a few selfies a try first, like this one of @doodledaydarling and myself at Wembley stadium for the Oasis gig, not sure why it gave me a tan but I don’t hate it 😅 Then I threw in a few curve balls like Mr.T and a meme of our evolution from apes to lobsters 🦞
I shit you not. This is a real experiment! Scientists conducted this attempt to understand how Tyrannosaurus rex walked, using chickens because they are the closest living relatives to dinosaurs. In a surprisingly erudite approach to what looks like a ridiculous setup, they attached a plunger to the chicken’s tail area (yeah, a plunger!) to shift the chicken’s center of mass backward, forcing it to walk more like a theropod dinosaur. And surprisingly, it worked. The chicken’s posture changed, its gait became more horizontal, and suddenly it started moving in a way that looked a lot closer to how scientists think T. rex might have walked. It shows how a simple physical tweak can reveal something deep about evolution, biomechanics, and how ancient animals moved. Science can be weird, but this is the good kind of weird.
Judging by my feed I might be the only person in the world that likes the new “this week” app menu. I do think it could be improved in a way that keeps new upcoming apps front and centre… What if, your 6 most used mini apps replace the “discover” banner? Only on the “this week” tab. Like in the image below 👇 I’m sure @rish and team are being meticulous about looking at all options, just this seems to get the users most likely need to the first tab without relegating discoverability.
