there's nothing more frustrating than reviewing a project status with your project lead and discovering the SME they trusted to deliver a critical part of the project: - didn't create a complete plan - only executed a fraction of what was needed - broke what was already working - has no recovery plan or timeline - went on vacation at least now i have another story about how projects end up in a quagmire
View on Farcaster →it's something i'd def keep surreptitious no one likes a bragger
View on Farcaster →i've always been a proponent of giving my team autonomy. it makes them stronger and makes the team stronger. i've never understood people that micromanage their staff. if you have to do their job and double or triple check their work, you're better off just doing it yourself. give them wings, let them fly! 6969 $uci
seeing the arduous processes that burr, cassie, and others are going through to prevent people from gaming the system brings back memories i can honestly say that i don't miss this part of being on a crypto or nft core team and having to decide on who's playing fairly pro tip: the ones who aren't tend to overexplain and don't realize how much data is available or that everything is onchain
went away for the day and somehow called my wife 14 times for various things i think she enjoyed it at first, now not so much normally i’m pretty astute oops
View on Farcaster →perhaps this is why there's only have 37 people here. in order to mitigate risk, your account is logged off randomly and requires intervention to get back in. those with mults take extra effort i'm joking (or am i?)
i must've been bad, as i see many now have 1.00 and my @neynar score went down 🥲 (or i could look at it as farcaster trying to achieve parity)
View on Farcaster →there are so many meetings i attend that i think i’m going to look pensive and sit in as a fly on the wall also me
View on Farcaster →it’s easy to see why people venerate @adrienne and @nounishprof. they’ve been delivering information daily from day 1.
View on Farcaster →i’ve learned that every decision sets a precedent you’re not just solving the problem in front of you you’re defining how it gets handled next time make sure it’s one you’re willing to repeat.
