I've been mostly offline for a few days celebrating my son's graduation and all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it. Rather than make perfunctory casts, I focused on my IRL relationships. But oh how I missed you all!

When I see the word benign I immediately think prerogative. The benign prerogative is usually thought of in terms of Hamilton’s writing in regards to the power to pardon and grant clemency. But I’m not sure benign applies anymore if pardon’s are used as bargaining chips.

This lil guy just had his last day of kindergarten and I blinked and it was his last day of high school today. A vicarious celebration of accomplishment for me. But mostly I’m in my feels cuz this is who is 18 now? Can’t be true. For those with youngins just know — it goes so fast!

Farcaster is a blockchain-native town square where the sidewalks are made of mini apps and snaps. But the town is small — like southeastern Massachusetts small where everyone is 3 degrees of separation from each other. Ok I’ve butchered that metaphor enough.
