There is a corner of the internet that is convinced “supposably” is not a word. They think their limited lexicon is supposably the authority on the matter. It is inconceivable that they may be wrong. “Why would we need that word if we already have supposedly?” Quipped my wife when I informed her that it was in fact a word. “I don’t know,” I answered, “but it’s been around since the early 17th century according to Merriam-Webster.”

I know my youngest child is cognizant of their impending move to college this month. However there is an important difference between knowing a thing and doing that thing. I think since this is a novel experience for them, they are hesitant. They are afraid of an uncertain future. I trust they will do exceptionally well on their new adventure.

With all of the selfish, murderous, morally bankrupt, expensive, and ignorant decisions the president has made, it is my sincere wish that he would abdicate his office and resign. Having no president would be better than this one.
