Too much social media for me or too much tech work anyway. My eyesight went flakey with it last night. SoundCloud has been my main focus this week. It's a bit like when I arrived on Farcaster. Candidly speaking, SoundCloud has been more welcoming, as you would expect (music artists want followers). Learning about distribution, promotion way before my music is ready for this sort of thing but I have been musical a long time so, yeah, swings and roundabouts.

The usually very solid Kalium wallet for Banano tokens has been out of action for two days now which is vexing.

Strangely it's the most experimental tracks on SoundCloud that imbue me the most with interest, excitement and inspiration for making music.

Yes, I am in a pretty typical reverie here, quite early now on a Monday morning. Things to do. My snowflakes song is slowly nearing completion. Went to avant-garde improv music afternoon in my hometown today. Nice to play some baritone ukulele. I really like it. It's quite like a guitar without the awkward weight of one. I'll get on...

So I've been musicking quite hard recently. I recorded 'Linger' by The Cranberries for my Facebook ukelele group, a somewhat precarious version, very low on volume (due to using free video editing software). I've been enjoying SoundCloud - yet more social media! Next project is a four-track EP for distribution on the music apps.

Come autumn I feel like being reclusive.

Night-time in the States. I'm up late in the UK exploring the slightly weird and slightly wonderful SoundCloud. I didn't really realise this is like a halfway work-in-progress music place compared to Spotify etc. Dreadfully riddled with AI and scam brokers but then what isn't? A fun place for musical ideas. I must be getting high/low. Just been splurging onto the internet for hours now. Just about keeping away from anything polemical or saucy. My bedtime. GM Farcaster 🙂

I've long been a fan of pics or it didn't happen (as they say on GMFC) poidh but that's a nice touch to get a follow from @kenny just for a contribution to the tortoise music challenge. My nebulous, stargazing track didn't win but happily @mattlee provided runners-up prizes for contributions. Nice application that runs outside of Farcaster I think. Might be posting again there.

Farcaster goes on but it feels very quiet for me which highlights the prodigious reach of the show GM Farcaster. I wonder what the team are up to.
