As of September 30, Farcaster and X are one game
One streak, one spot on the leaderboard and one history, whichever platform you play on.
Until September 30
- A streak on each platform, counted separately.
- A leaderboard for each platform.
- A post on each platform scores on its own board.
From September 30
- One streak. A day counts if you played on any platform.
- One leaderboard: daily, weekly and all-time, with everyone in one place.
- Play on Farcaster, X, or both. On a day you play both, your higher score counts, so a second post can only help.
Write something new each time. Originality is judged against every earlier post that day, on any platform, including your own. Posting the same or similar sentence on a second platform will reduce your score there.
What you'll see
- Your streak and totals are recalculated back to launch, using your best score each day. If you've played on both platforms, your streak and total can only go up.
- Past leaderboards are recalculated the same way, so some ranks will shift.
- On the leaderboard you'll show as your Farcaster handle, or your X handle if you only play on X.
What stays the same
- You accept and post on each platform the way you do today.
- $wordaday rewards and the token requirement stay on Farcaster only.
- Every score you've earned so far stays as it is.
